Volunteer
Madden's Chicken-Giving thrives off of our amazing volunteers who show up and show out for our events. We have had upwards of 200+ volunteers yearly, with roughly 1/2 of them being youth! Volunteers receive valuable experience in community giving, as well as are exposed to the harsh reality which our friends in poverty undergo each day. We pride ourselves on our ability to "open the eyes" of our volunteers, aiming to cultivate empathy and compassion in individuals of all ages. At the self-titled Chicken-Giving event, you will have the chance to participate in a multitude of activities - fit for all ages! These include card-decorating, meal-packaging, pie cutting, delivering meals, picking up meals, photo-taking, and handing out meals. Sponsorships
In order to have complete meal packages, we need sponsors. We only purchase one rotisserie chicken per meal, all other items are donated. For example, an anonymous sponsor donated 500 beanies in 2024. These items were included in meal bags but we did not purchase them. For more information on sponsorships or donations of that caliber, please utilize the following communication methods to reach out to our team! Thanks so much!

We need your help! We want to use this website to raise our final $3,000 to hit our goal of 1,000 meals given to our friends in need this spring! These 1,000 meals will be handed out on March 8th. Only $7 buys someone a meal! Please consider donating today. 100% of the proceeds will go directly to the purchasing of these meals!
